https://zariu.com/26723-mature-super-bonne-16047/ Hi Lovelies! Yesterday was a wonderful day for our nation. Historical! Important! Hard Fought and Long Awaited! Yesterday, on June 26, 2015, the Supreme Court of the United States ordered that same-sex marriages be legal and recognized in all 50 states. I cried so many happy tears yesterday and celebrated with my parents at home, on the phone with dozens of friends across the country, with my brother and his boyfriend living in London, with thrilled Texans crammed inside of a Fort Worth Church (thanks for hosting us all, Celebration Community Church!) and with two gay men who were legally and gleefully married in said church. I tweeted, I facebooked, I rainbowed, I laugh-sobbed, I watched our president congratulate the country. I tried to explain what a monumental day it was to my son when we were at the party store buying rainbow balloons for the mailbox. He’s five and he understood that his uncle Alex seemed to be at the center of our conversation, but he didn’t totally understand why. And I thought, “My son will never know any different. My son will grow up in a world, in a country, without the distinction between ‘marriage’ and ‘gay marriage’. We’ll have to tell him about all of this. It’ll be history. History!” And then I cried some more and hugged more strangers. Yesterday was one of the best days EVER!

https://theatremagnetic.be/52568-rencontre-bresilienne-france-74029/ If you know me, you know that Christy Matthews Events is extremely dedicated to marriage equality and I have been since I dove into the wedding industry in 2008. My first boss, mentor and eventual partner at Allure Consulting, Michelle Martinez, has always been a strong LGBT ally. Once I was running the Allure SF-based office, I made sure that every assistant I hired and each woman I mentored was on the same page as me – the Marriage Equality Page. When I started CME here in DFW earlier this year, I defined my business by making it extremely clear how important the cause of marriage equality is to me as a business owner and personally. Being a wedding planner is my dream job and I feel so blessed to do it. The world is changing – I couldn’t be happier about how!
