Hi! Happy Valentine’s Day, lovelies! I am thrilled to share that one of my weddings is on Junebug Weddings today! Junebug is one of my favorite wedding blogs – they feature gorgeous events — Inspiring, personal and beautiful weddings with photographers that exhibit the moody, saturated looks that I am drawn to. Laura and Eric’s wedding was shot by Edyta Szyszlo and the venue, Manka’s Boathouse in Inverness, was perfection – the area is surrounded with towering, ancient trees, the house itself sits right on the water, and a rickety dock jets out over the fog-covered inlet. It’s rustic and authentic and it was a simply stunning place to host an intimate wedding. With cocktails and food from the incomparable restaurant, The Sir and the Stars, and vintage rentals sourced from several local vendors, Laura and Eric curated a wedding vision that I was able to coordinate and execute.
My favorite details of the day were Laura’s beautiful pale blush dress and veil, the pale pink vintage crystal goblets, and the petal toss after the ceremony.
